Wonder 45
“Jess is just a brilliant, brilliant singer, a rock-solid Camden girl.” – Noel Gallagher
Originally formed as an instrumental recording project by producer / writer Holley Gray, Wonder 45 were joined by Jess Greenfield and Gavin Conder, writing and recording authentic soul music from their London base. Currently in the midst of recording their second album, they are ready to share new music following on from their critically acclaimed 2024 release, Wonderland.
Between them Wonder 45 have stood on headline stages from Glastonbury’s Pyramid, Reading, Isle of Wight, to Fuji Rock in Japan, with the likes of Noel Gallagher, Michael Kiwanuka and Rag ‘n’ Bone Man. This unrivalled ensemble of musicians combine arena-ready song writing with meticulous and soulful performances.
They received Radio 2 playlist placement for the first single ‘Cry’, (described by Zoe Ball as “Beautiful!”) from their debut album, ‘Wonderland’, which was released in May. The follow-up track, ‘Make It Happen’ was premiered on 6 Music by Craig Charles, who touted Wonder 45 as “One To Watch” in 2024, and have since been playlisted as far afield as Seattle’s KEXP.
They sold-out their live debut at the iconic 606 in London’s Chelsea and followed it up with their album release show at Colours in Hoxton.
“Two voices pitched in perfect harmony to create blue-eyed soul and sophisticated, grown-up pop.” – Mike Brown, Telegraph Magazine
