Trumpeter Quentin Collins brings the spirit of the legendary Blue Note Records to Nottingham for one special night at Peggy’s Skylight.
Featuring the UK jazz great Gareth Williams on piano and Jazz Defenders lynchpins Jake McMurchie (Get The Blessing) on tenor sax and Ian Matthew (Kasabian) on drums — this explosive set dives deep into the soulful hard bop, modal grooves and swinging classics that made Blue Note the most iconic sound in jazz history. Expect music associated with legends including Lee Morgan, Horace Silver, Art Blakey and Herbie Hancock — alongside fresh arrangements and spontaneous improvisation from a world-class band.

- Window seating areas – you can request to be seated in ‘Ella’ (larger window area) or ‘Satchmo’ (smaller window area). Please note, a few of these seats have a slightly restricted view.
- Though we can guarantee that you will have a table for the show, we cannot guarantee exactly where, as we do our best to fulfil all customers requirements.
- If you are hoping to combine bookings with somebody else or join an existing booking then please let us know in advance as we cannot guarantee that changes to our table plan will be possible on the night.
