King Joe & The Atlantics
“The closest recreation of authentic Rhythm & Blues, since the early lineup of The Big Town Playboys…” – Steve Pilkington – Renown Blues Expert
“The closest you’re gonna’ get to hopping in a time machine and going back to the 50s and seeing the real thing”
King Joe & The Atlantics are an exciting 6 Piece group inspired by the electrifying sounds of Rhythm & Blues from the 40s, 50s and 60s with an ultimate all-star lineup of musicians, including Nick Lunt (from Jools Holland’s R&B Orchestra), Wayne Lee (son of Albert Lee) and Al Nicholls (The Big Town Playboys).
Billed by many as The hottest Vintage Rhythm & Blues act around today – hearing a sound like this live on stage in the 21st century is hard to come by, so don’t miss this authentic experience and witnessing an unforgettable night.
Close your eyes and take a trip back to circa 1953 as you listen to the closest thing to a live concert with the likes of Amos Milburn, Floyd Dixon, Tiny Bradshaw, Big Joe Turner and Jimmy McCracklin!

Wayne Lee – Piano (Son of Albert Lee)
