The Jeff Brown Sextet (JBS), presents ‘Phrase and Fable’, a programme of Jeff’s own compositions, each drawing inspiration from traditional sayings and stories. The music intertwines short themes and improvisations, taking the audience on a journey through a range of jazz styles.
Trumpeter Jeff Brown is originally from Derbyshire and now is based in London. His performing career has included numerous appearances at internationally acclaimed jazz clubs as well as touring and recording with major artists such as Jools Holland. Jeff’s trumpet playing has been featured on tracks played on radio and television programmes, such as BBC Radio 1, BBC 1 and BBC 2.

- You can request to be seated in ‘Dizzy’ (raked theatre), ‘Duke’ (side wall), ‘Billie’ (front of stage) or ‘Mingus’ (near piano) and we will do our best to allocate you to your chosen seats.
- Though we can guarantee that you will have a table, we cannot guarantee exactly where, as we do our best to fulfil all customers requirements
- Seating in ‘Ella’ or ‘Satchmo’ (by the windows) is allocated last, unless specifically requested. Please note, a few of these seats are restricted view
- All seats are at a table or bar where you can order food and drink with table service
