The Fabrice Tarel Quartet makes its first UK visit with a programme of lyrical, contemporary jazz. Known for its melodic depth, rhythmic finesse, and rich ensemble interplay, the group brings its acclaimed sound to UK audiences for the very first time.

Fabrice Tarel began playing music on the violin at the age of 7, adding the piano shortly after. His early interest in composition intensified over the years, allowing him to gradually develop a highly unique musical universe.

He studied with the remarkable Matthew Bourne and attended masterclasses with Dave Liebman and Jerry Bergonzi. He has maintained close ties with England ever since, particularly with the London music scene, which is experiencing a remarkable period of growth. and has collaborated on numerous occasions with renowned British artists: Tom Ollendorff, Tom Barford, Riley Stone-Lonergan, Andy Barron, Tom Harrison and Alexandra Ridout.

Fabrice Tarel‘s career is marked by encounters with groups and artists from diverse backgrounds, including Stéphane Guillaume, Tim Giles, Florent Nisse, Julien Hucq, Grégory Sallet, Eric Prost, François Gallix, Philippe Maniez, Gil Lachenal, Jean Gobinet, Percy Pursglove, Adrian Ingram, Krzysztof Majchrzak, Marc Michel and Anne Sila.
