Wayward Jane’s music is a modern interpretation of American folk and Old Time traditions, blending roots music with fresh arrangements and original songs. Their rich sound features fiddle, clawhammer banjo, double bass, guitar, wooden flute and close vocal harmonies. Wayward’s live shows have a joyful energy, expressing the fine musicianship and playful chemistry of the four musicians and friends. Ranging in mood from high-octane, toe-tapping tunes to tender and soulful songs, Wayward Jane tends to leave audiences with a glow in their hearts.

Wayward Jane has appeared together at folk clubs and festivals across the land, touring extensively in the UK and Ireland. They were recently featured live in session on BBC Radio Scotland’s Travelling Folk where Bruce MacGregor remarked “They’re just that bit different from anything else happening in Scotland!” The band are busy members of the Edinburgh traditional music scene, playing in bands such as Brothers Gillespie, Dowally and Michael Starkey & Hannah Read. They have released three albums – Wayward Jane, Old Train, and The Flood. The latter led to rave reviews and a live performance on BBC Radio 4’s Loose Ends.

TICKET TYPES
- General Admission (main seating area) – You can request to be seated in ‘Billie’ (front of stage), ‘Dizzy’ (raked theatre), ‘Mingus’ (near piano) or ‘Duke’ (side wall) and we will do our best to allocate you to your chosen seats
- General Admission (Ella/Satchmo seating area) – you can request to be seated in ‘Ella’ (by the fireplace) or ‘Satchmo’ (by the windows). Please note, a few of these seats have a restricted view
- Though we can guarantee that you will have a table, we cannot guarantee exactly where, as we do our best to fulfil all customers requirements
- All seats are at a table or bar where you can order food and drink with table service
- If you are hoping to combine bookings or join an existing booking then please let us know in advance as we cannot guarantee that changes to our table plan will be possible on the night

CONCESSIONS
- Concessionary tickets are available for anyone under 26; over 65; receiving Universal Credit or in possession of a current NUS card
- If concessionary tickets are purchased alongside standard tickets, then you will all be seated together. Should your booking consist entirely of concessionary tickets then we will do our best to have you seated in your preferred section, but if the event fills up then seating priority will go to those who have purchased standard tickets
