Splendid Orator are a 3 piece from Nottingham comprising of Peter Beardsworth (keys), and Rob Rosa (Violin) & Roger Rosa (guitar). They'll be playing a selection of their favourite songs and themes, drawing from their past and current influences and going on a musical odyssey.

Pete Beardsworth is a multi instrumentalist, vocalist, songwriter and producer whose music is influenced by soul, Latin jazz and afrobeat. As a pianist he looks up to Chick Corea and Alice Coltrane. His music has been played by global DJs Gilles Peterson, Auntie Flo and Toshio Matsura.

Rob Rosa is a classically trained violinist and pianist who plays with Manière des Bohémiens. He studied at Chetham's school of Music and was later leader of the Lincolnshire Youth Symphony Orchestra. Since moving to Nottingham he's played with many artists in the local music scene in many genres from folk to reggae and dance music to jazz. His main influences are Christian Garrick, David Oistrakh and Maxim Vengerov.

Rob is joined by his brother Roger on guitar, a long-time bandmate in Maniere des Bohemiens, and multi-instrumentalist in the local scene over the past decade and beyond. As well as the rhythmic sensibility of the gypsy jazz he is mostly known for, his guitar playing draws influence from legendary figures such as Joe Pass, Grant Green and Charlie Christian, and elements of bossa nova and classical styles.
