Acclaimed jazz guitarist Nick Costley-White invites internationally renowned jazz pianist Jason Rebello to join his trio for this special one-off performance at Peggy’s Skylight. Jason is one of the most important and exciting jazz pianists in the country, continuing an amazing career in which he’s performed with the likes of Wayne Shorter, Sting, Jeff Beck, and Brandford Marsalis, to name just a few.
Nick’s own trio features Tom Farmer (Empirical, Anoushka Shankar) on bass and Jon Scott (Gogo Penguin, Sons of Kemet) on drums, two of the most in-demand and heavy swinging musicians to be found in the UK. The band are hitting the road to promote their latest studio recording “Nice Work!”, and having performed at the Vortex Jazz Club just the night before you can expect them to be razor sharp! Their repertoire includes compositions by some of the greats of the modal jazz era alongside new arrangements of selected choices from the American Songbook. Having notched up hundreds of hours on the bandstand together gigging on the London jazz circuit they’ve honed their trio sound of swinging and dynamic improvising.

TICKET TYPES
- Twilight / Highlight Show (main seating area) – You can request to be seated in ‘Billie’ (front of stage), ‘Dizzy’ (raked theatre), ‘Mingus’ (near piano) or ‘Duke’ (side wall) and we will do our best to allocate you to your chosen seats
- Twilight / Highlight Show (Ella/Satchmo seating area) – you can request to be seated in ‘Ella’ (by the fireplace) or ‘Satchmo’ (by the windows). Please note, a few of these seats have a restricted view
- Though we can guarantee that you will have a table, we cannot guarantee exactly where, as we do our best to fulfil all customers requirements
- All seats are at a table or bar where you can order food and drink with table service
- If you are hoping to combine bookings or join an existing booking then please let us know in advance as we cannot guarantee that changes to our table plan will be possible on the night
