Nathan James is a well-established roots and blues vocalist/guitarist based in Southern California. When he’s not leading his own band, the Rhythm Scratchers, or performing solo, Nathan is called to back blues harmonica legends Kim Wilson and Rod Piazza. He was also a longtime guitarist for the late James Harman starting from age 19. His influences range from pre-war acoustic blues to electrified early rhythm & blues and soul. Nathan incorporates bits and pieces from all of these genres to influence his own original songwriting.
