A progressive fusion of folk and jazz. Lisa Marini brings profound emotion to her music and performances; combining beautifully crafted songs, infectious guitar picking and a defiant voice

Marini has performed on the main stage at Wilderness festival, at the 02 for the Blues fest and in some of London’s most prestigious venues, including The Jazz Café, Ronnie Scotts, The Green Note and The St Pancras old church.

Her music has been played on Jazz FM, BBC Scotland and her self-recorded EP, From The Bedroom Den was used for a documentary about refugees in New Zealand. Lisa Marini’s debut album Born in Tribes was released in the summer of 2020

An auspicious debut, Marini has the potential to be one of the most significant voices of the next decade and beyond” – Mike Davies // Folk Radio UK

Lisa Marini surrenders to the magic of the art of music. An almost shamanic force. There is a profound authenticity in the dramatic and restless acoustic and introspective cuttings of Marini’s music”- OnDaRock Magazine Italy

“This music cuts vinyl tributaries of folk, jazz, and blues that merge to touch ritual wood, which kindles magical songs”
-Bill Golembeski // Folking
