James Morton is one of the most exciting saxophone players of his generation. He has been touring internationally for the past 18 years with a variety of projects and 2022 sees James launching his new hard hitting creation Groove Den.
This project features new material drawing on his influences from soul, jazz, hip-hop and tough, grooving beats, hence the name Groove Den.
James has the ability to directly connect with audiences through his soulful, lyrical and flamboyant style and is backed by a world class rhythm section.
He has worked with some of the most influential artists in the world including Fred Wesley and The New JB’s, Pee Wee Ellis, Andy Sheppard, Dennis Rollins, The NPG Hornz (Prince), Liv Warfield, Cee Lo Green, Kasabian, Pendulum, Roni Size and Raphael Saadiq to name a few. James is also a member of UK Jazz/ Hip-hop legends The Herbaliser.

- You can request to be seated in ‘Dizzy’ (raked theatre), ‘Duke’ (side wall), ‘Billie’ (front of stage) or ‘Mingus’ (near piano) and we will do our best to allocate you to your chosen seats.
- Though we can guarantee that you will have a table, we cannot guarantee exactly where, as we do our best to fulfil all customers requirements
- Seating in ‘Ella’ or ‘Satchmo’ (by the windows) is allocated last, unless specifically requested. Please note, a few of these seats are restricted view
- All seats are at a table or bar where you can order food and drink with table service
