Awen Ensemble are a Leeds based contemporary jazz collective. The band’s compositions display an eclectic mix of world folk colours and lush modal harmony, with groove and melodic focus sitting at the centre of the music. The group call on influence
from traditions in Jazz, Arabic, Cuban, West African and British folk among others.
Following multiple sold out Leeds headliners in the last year, as well as debut performances at ‘We Out Here’ and with Total Refreshment Centre in London, Awen Ensemble are now touring to support their debut EP release.

You can request to be seated in ‘Dizzy’ (raked theatre), ‘Duke’ (side wall), ‘Billie’ (front of stage) or ‘Mingus’ (near piano) and we will do our best to allocate you to your chosen seats.
